Introduction

Hello — I'm Clemens.

A software developer, and a husband and father. This site is the long version: what I have built, what I am building now, and how I got from one to the other.

This website is a comprehensive showcase of my career journey, highlighting the skills, accomplishments and experiences that shaped me into the professional I am today. As you navigate through the pages you will find my educational background, work history, key projects, and the diverse skill set I bring to the table — problem solving, an innovative approach, and team leadership.

I believe continuous learning and adapting are the keys to professional growth, and this portfolio reflects that. If my expertise aligns with what you need, or you are interested in collaborating, do get in touch through the contact information provided. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to an interesting challenge.

Becoming One

Over the years my life has been shaped by three passions that intertwine and show up in everything I do.

Technology & Innovation

Passionate Developer

My journey in IT has been more than just a career — it's a deep-seated passion. Each line of code and every project has enhanced my technical skills while fostering an analytical mindset.

Family Enthusiast

Amidst the fast-paced tech world, my family has been my grounding force. Being a loving father and husband is integral to who I am, both inside and outside the office.

Diligent Craftsman

Traditional craftsmanship, particularly woodworking, has been a wonderful counterbalance to my digital career. It's a meditative practice that sharpens focus and creativity.

This triad of passions — IT, family and craftsmanship — has collectively shaped my life, bringing a unique blend of skills and perspectives to the table. They taught me the importance of continuous growth, the value of relationships, and the satisfaction of creating with one's hands.

Publishing house

Curitor

My products ship under their own house now — a small independent label for creative software. Two objects in the cabinet so far: a Unity toolkit other developers build on, and a game I built with my own hands to find the splinters first.

Live now

Street Value

Browser idle game

An empire that runs while you are not looking.

Build an operation in a city that is paying attention. Production lines you plan, crew you hire by the week, and a market other players are trading on — all simulated server-side and still running when the tab is shut.

  • A generated city that opens by playing, never by paying
  • A live exchange with real orders from real players
  • Offline progression, capped and reported honestly

Party Core Kit

Unity toolkit

Party games, without the netcode tax.

A modular, network-ready toolkit for physics-based party brawlers — the Gang Beasts and Party Animals school of chaotic multiplayer. Built so a small team reaches a playable core through editor configuration rather than bespoke code.

  • Movement tuned rather than assembled
  • Netcode for GameObjects, sharp edges already found
  • Local co-op, online, and bots that fill empty seats

Curitor is the legal entity and publisher of record — the reason the work has somewhere to live that is not a CV page. It is organised as a wunderkammer: a cabinet whose objects share a hand rather than a category, with the empty shelves shown as empty.

Nexfile — built for smart document intelligence

A platform designed to intelligently analyze, compare and interact with documents using modern AI. Upload a resume, a report, a contract or an academic paper and get structured, clear, actionable insight.

Nexfile was born out of a simple question I asked myself as a developer: what if reading, interpreting and evaluating documents could be automated and insightful — without being complex? PDF comparison, category-based analysis, interactive Q&A and a flexible coin-based model, all aimed at tools that are powerful but still approachable.

Beyond the features it reflects something personal: a belief in building transparent, practical tools that help people make better use of their information. No bloated dashboards, no locked-in pricing — just value, clarity and user-first design. The platform is sunsetted in favour of new topics, but the ideas and the lessons from building it still shape what I work on now.

The Nexfile document analysis interface

What I learned

That real progress often comes from friction. The bugs you do not expect, the designs that do not land, the performance bottlenecks that push you to refactor — they are not setbacks, they are checkpoints. Each obstacle taught me to think more holistically about users, performance, security and long-term maintainability. Like every other project here, curiosity kept me going; and even if this one will not be the most valuable thing I ever build, having learned from it is already worth the time.
